A long time ago, several lead ore (Galena) mines were present in the
area near Longvilly at the border of Luxemburg and Belgium. A few dumps still exist, which some decades ago produced great Pyromorphites, next to Galena and few others. Quite some digging is required to still find some micro specimen. I went there several times now, and never found the quality of the old days one can see on pictures on Mindat. Perhaps I did not dig well enough, also due to the long trip it takes for me to arrive there. I am sure I will find them later..But still some goodies are now in my collection.
Most of the fields of view are less than 6mm.
