A little bit further up in the valley of Veny, passing Brenva Glacier, Miage is the second but largest glacier that ends at valley level. It is a great hiking valley. Collecting is forbidden, but if you pick up a stone, who will complain? Take care, the murenes are dangerous…The quality of the Anatases is little less to those of Brenva but Miage also produces nice Sphene (Titanite). The Ozocerite is an oddity.
